1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Modern Technology LLC ("Company", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information in connection with the LogiIQ Platform, websites, APIs, support channels, and related services ("Services").

This Policy applies to authorized users, administrators, demo guests (where applicable), and visitors who interact with public-facing LogiIQ properties.

2. Roles: Controller and Processor

For most operational business data entered by customer organizations—such as loads, yard events, driver assignments, warehouse transactions, documents, and customer/carrier visibility records—your subscribing organization is the data controller and Company acts as a service provider/processor handling data on their instructions.

For account administration, billing, platform security, product analytics, and website operations, Company may act as a controller.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and identity data: name, business email, role, company affiliation, authentication identifiers, password hashes, MFA metadata, and session tokens.
  • Operational and tenant data: logistics records, location data, timestamps, workflow actions, documents, messages, configuration, and audit events submitted through the Platform.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, feature usage, error logs, performance metrics, and security telemetry.
  • Communications: support requests, training correspondence, and system notifications.
  • Demo and sandbox data: information you voluntarily submit when requesting or using guest demo access, subject to shorter retention in sandbox environments.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Authenticate users, enforce role-based access, detect fraud, and investigate security incidents.
  • Generate operational analytics, audit trails, compliance reports, and customer-requested exports.
  • Provide customer support, onboarding, and service communications.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce terms, and protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Develop and evaluate product features, including AI-assisted workflows where enabled and permitted.

5. Legal Bases (Where Applicable)

Depending on jurisdiction, we rely on one or more of the following bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests in securing and operating enterprise software, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required (for example, certain cookies or optional communications).

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only as described below:

  • With your organization and its authorized administrators according to role permissions.
  • With infrastructure, hosting, email, monitoring, and security vendors under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • With professional advisors or authorities when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect against fraud or harm.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

7. International and Cross-Border Processing

LogiIQ may process information in the United States and other countries where Company or its subprocessors operate. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, satisfy contractual requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law.

Retention periods for operational tenant data are primarily controlled by the subscribing organization. Security logs and audit records may be retained for a longer period for integrity, forensic, and compliance purposes.

Sandbox and demo data may be deleted or reset on a shorter schedule.

9. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, tenant isolation, monitoring, and audit logging.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and promptly reporting suspected incidents.

10. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port certain personal information, or to object to certain processing.

Authorized users should submit privacy requests through their organization's administrator where the organization is the controller. You may also contact Company at the address below for platform-level account issues.

11. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, security, preferences, and service reliability.

You can control cookies through browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent login or core functionality.

12. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the effective date and version when we do. Material changes may require renewed acknowledgment where legally or contractually necessary.
